Headed out this weekend. Do the sportsbooks out there offer teasers? Which ones? I've gone before but never asked and didn't remember seeing them on the strip scorecards.

Please comment and thanks in advance!

You can do teasers but don't expect offshore odds. You may pay -120 for a 2 team 6 point teaser. A lot of Vegas books won't let you add totals. The rules totally blow.

T-Dogg: Enjoy your trip here but make sure you bring your lap top and/or your phone so you can make your bets offshore. Sports betting in this town is strongly discouraged by the casinos because they're terrified that someone may win.

Even the places that still take teasers will rob you on the prices. In a lot of sportsbooks, you can't bet a 2 team NFL teaser. They make you put a college game in there or you have to bet 3 NFL teams. At many places, you can't put totals in there even if you wanted to. A 2 team 6 pt teaser is -120. A 2 team 6 1/2 pt teaser is -130 and a 2 team 7 pt teaser is -140. Shameful. The prices for all-college teasers are a bit better but you don't have the edge in college teasers that you do in the NFL.

You have to remember that Las Vegas got out of the gambling business quite some time ago.

I tried to make a $100 bet on a 4-team parlay at the Stardust last year and they took 15 minutes because they had to get 'approval' from management! Amazing! I guess they figured I was a beard for that big hitter that fixes four games and than sends us guys around town making 100 parlay bets on them. Last trip to LV for me!

Go to Laughlin, about an hour and a half south of Vegas. They have 11 casino's and you'll get better odds. Earlier this year Vegas had Kennseth to win the Championship at 8-1. Laughlin had it at 10-1.

Comps are easier to come by too...

Didn't mean to be too negative. The best places to play in Vegas(w/o a notebook) are the Coast places. ThePlaza downtown is a Coast place and the best of those. They have been having more over-night lines and higher limits than most places out there. When I was there in April they were making a concerted effort to attract some real gamblers back.(Of course, that was 6 months ago and things can regress quickly out there.). GL .
